Background

Incorporated in Uganda in June 2012, we are a multi-national company offering Electronic Money services to all Ugandans with or without a mobile phone, with or without any formal bank accounts wishing to receive and make multiple payments in an easy to use, reliable, secure and affordable manner. We also offer pay bills, collections, points of sale, money transfers and other e-money services to banks, non-bank corporations, government and NGOs.

We have strategically partnered with a Malaysian based company, Mobile Money International Sdn. Bhd. (MMI), which holds an E-Money license from the Central Bank of Malaysia and is recognized for its continuous innovation around mobile-centric electronic money services in the South East Asian region, where it has been operating for the last 15 years. MMI provides the system that powers our e-money-services under the brand promise to our customers of ďJust Like That.Ē

Our Telecommunication network agnostic platform targets to deliver E-Money services in Uganda to more than 60% of the population that is excluded due to lack of handset ownership or access to any formal financial institutions.
